About Lexy

Lexy Lawryshyn is an Ontario-based event rider whose journey in the sport has been shaped by a deep commitment to horsemanship, education, and horse welfare. A former Young Rider competitor, she successfully competed through the Intermediate level before shifting her focus toward the next chapter of her equestrian career.

After retiring her upper-level mare from competition, Lexy made the decision to breed her, creating an opportunity to develop a future partner from the very beginning. Today, she is bringing along her mare's young gelding while balancing the demands of graduate school, demonstrating the dedication, patience, and long-term perspective required to develop a horse through the levels.

As she continues developing her homebred prospect, Lexy's long-term goal is to return to upper-level competition while remaining an advocate for horsemanship and community.
